TASK 2

COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT TRAININGS

Support under Task 2 of the "Vision of the Future" project is directed to:

Each Participant may take part in one or more trainings in the path from A to D.

Language courses,
to select from:

Polish language course for foreigners
(beginner proficiency level A0-A1)

160 participants x 60 h + 15 h
8 courses at different proficiency levels (from A1), containing: 15h of material on Polish culture, 60h of educational materials (8 groups x 20 people x 60h), + 15h of additional tutorials to be divided for all courses; the total number of participants is 160.

The course is carried out from level B1, also including content (e.g. vocabulary) related to the education in the field of study of the participant in order to strengthen his / her competence to use the English language in a given profession. 60 teaching hours each course (4 groups x 20 people x 60h).

Soft skills training (workshops),

Better presentations

20 groups x 8 participants = 160 participants

Training designed to give participants the knowledge and skills on how to prepare presentations of the highest quality that are modern, concise, credible, and convincing. As a result of the training, participants will be able to sell their ideas, products and projects more effectively and move through key issues faster and heading straight for the goal. They will also be much more credible in making their presentations and thus more convincing.

Effective Business Negotiations

8 groups x 10 participants = 80 participants

The negotiation techniques used in the training allow one to adopt an own way of business communication both from standard situations and in a highly complex environment. Participants will spend their training time facing real-life cases, also involving business situations. At the same time, they will be instructed on how to move step by step in a very structured way and never lose sight of their own circumstances and purpose. During the training, teachers will guide participants through the process of focusing on the most important facts and using tools to best ensure the message is conveyed. Negotiations will thus be conducted in a more result-oriented manner.

    The participant will acquire practical social skills needed to work in a team in order to more effectively pass information and perform tasks. They will acquire knowledge and skills on how to behave in situations of change, conflict, increased intensity of work and how to communicate, assertively refuse, control emotions, deal with stress, make decisions under time pressure and stress. They will also acquire knowledge of persuasion and convincing techniques, setting goals, priorities and tasks, and other important competencies useful in teamwork.

  • Conflict Management (10 participants) 40 h

    The training will provide participants with knowledge about the causes of conflicts, their understanding, and how to deal with them. The participants will also become familiar with techniques of exerting influence, which allows management of conflicts according to the desired results. Additionally, they will acquire knowledge from the fields of mediation and negotiation. They will acquire interpersonal skills useful in conflict situations and skills used in making action plans and safe ways of conflict resolution.

  • Innovation and entrepreneurship in business (10 participants) 40 h

    During the training, participants will gain knowledge and skills the following areas: legal aspects of innovation management, types of innovation, business innovation in the area of technology, marketing and sales and company organization, contemporary innovation strategies (blue ocean strategy, open innovation , crowdsourcing), sources of funding specific to innovation activities, eco-innovation, management for innovative project, business plan for innovation projects,good practices for implementing innovation strategies,protection of intellectual property in innovative projects, transfer of technologies, startup as an innovative enterprise, and much more.

    During the training, participants will gain knowledge and skills the following areas: conditions, symptoms and causes of crises in organizations, classification of causes and symptoms of crises in organizations (cause-effect, anticipatory dimension), basic features of crisis phenomena interpretation and their role in accurate diagnosis of the organization's situation, risk management process in the organization and its impact on minimizing organizational losses, reactive and proactive actions in strategic and operational decision-making – a list of paths depending on the choice of strategy for the organization, success factors of implementation of anti-crisis actions, organization of crisis management - rules, procedures, activities of management and implementation team members in the company (variant of active and passive staff), crisis response patterns and preparation of decision support in employee participation during emergency response, and more.

    During the training, participants will gain knowledge and skills in areas such as: what is change? opportunity, threat or necessity? benefits of change: flexibility, innovation and company growth, understanding roles and tasks in the change process - looking at change from the perspective of the organization and the individual, what factors are critical to the success and failure of implementing change, change management at the organization level: defining change, purpose, scope, expected results, timeline for change, diagnosis of the potential level and sources of resistance to change, cultural fit of change, communication in change, managing the change process in a team, managing a team of people in change, and more.

A series of 2 meetings with employers (2 x 4h) and/or a study visit to the employer (8h) in 8 groups of 30 person. Meetings and study visits are conducted in Polish and/or English.

Study Visits - meetings with employers (at the company's premises) to learn about their expectations for new employees, conducted to increase the involvement of employers in the implementation of educational programs and serving to better prepare graduates to enter the labor market, increasing entrepreneurial competence. The study visit is planned to last 8h with breaks.

Meetings with employers - a series of 2 meetings with employers (2 x 4 h) in the form of additional classes with representatives of employers, that is, experts and practitioners, to increase the involvement of employers in the implementation of educational programs to better prepare graduates to enter the labor market, and to improve entrepreneurial competencies; meetings take place in: UEHS.

Classes will be preceded by an individual balance of competences and qualifications of each Participant of the Project. It will help in choosing development paths and choosing the form of support in which a given person should participate.
